M.Kailasnath received his M.Sc in Physics from Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam during the year 1996. He received M.Tech in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology in the year 2000. He received M.Phil in Physics (Nanomaterials) from University of Kerala in the year 2001. He joined International School of Photonics as a Lecturer during the year 2001 and completed his Ph.D. in Photonics (2011) from the International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology. His PhD thesis is in the area of Fabrication and characterization of dye doped polymer optical fibres with different refractive index profiles for Photonic applications. This was done under the joint guidance of Prof. P Radhakrishnan and Prof. V P N Nampoori. He is an executive member of Photonics Society of India (PSI). Currently he is an Assistant Professor at International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology..
