The best thesis prize for the year 2002 was awarded by Indian Laser Association during the National Laser Symposium - 2002 (November 14-16) at Thiruvanathpuram. The best thesis award
was shared by Dr. (Ms) A. Deepthy for her thesis "Growth and physical properties of nonlinear optical KTP and ferroelectric GPI crystals". This work was done at IISc Bangalore.
