Financial support

Those selected candidates who have a valid GATE score are eligible for financial assistance. They will receive an assistantship of Rs. 5000/- per month. The assistantship will be available for a maximum period of 18 months.

Sponsored candidates who are admitted to the programme should have full financial support from the concerned sponsoring agency, namely, the Govt. Department, Organization, Industry, the Institute, the project, etc. for the entire duration of the programme.

In the absence of GATE qualified candidates, the seats may be offered to non GATE candidates but they will not be entitled to scholarship. These students have to support themselves fully.
