Nonlinear optics is a study that deals mainly with various new optical effects and novel phenomena arising from the interactions of intense coherent optical radiation with
matter. At present the group is interested in studying the nonlinear optical
properties of different organic and organo metallic compounds. This include laser dyes, metallo phthalocyanines and metallo
naphthalocyanines.
