Facility at ISP
laboratories we are using photoacoustic technique to evaluate the important thermophysical parameters of
materials like liquid crystals, liquid crystal polymers, dye doped polymers,
doped organic glass, nonlinear crystals, organic semiconductors, compound
semiconductors, transparent ceramics, etc., which have potential applications in photonics industry. At present we have facilities for continuous wave photoacoustics and pulsed photoacoustics. The lab is also
equipped with a set-up for taking photoacoustic spectra.
