The
Photonics Society of India (PSI), founded in 2000, is a professional
organization of persons, institutions and companies working with
photonics in India. PSI is an independent Indian professional
organization tending to the interests of photonics research and
applications. It is governed by an elected executive committee. It
is administered by the International
School of Photonics (ISP) located in Cochin University of
Science and Technology, Cochin.
Main objective of PSI is to
create a network of researchers, scientists, educators and
industrialists who are interested to take part in the photonics
related programmes in India.
Annual
general body meeting of PSI is arranged every year on 28th
Feb.
